About

At Fuchs Ridge Frenchies, our mission is to place the right French Bulldog with the right family at the right time. We are a family breeder and we take the time to get to know our families before we send them home with a new puppy.

In 2018, we bought a Fawn Blue French Bulldog puppy and we named him Zeus. He was everything that we had been looking for in a Frenchie, big broad chest, big head, narrow waist and hips. We fell in love instantly! After eight short months, we decided that he needed a friend and playmate, so we found a beautiful brindle female and we named her Maya. She was perfect in every way, short, petite, and had an amazingly sweet personality. About six months later, we decided that we wanted to breed them. We had them fully vet checked and screened for health issues, registered as a breeder with AKC, then patiently waited until Maya went into her second heat cycle. The rest you can say was history! We had our first litter in November 2020. In July of 2021, we decided to add another female to our family. We fell in love with a blue sable female and named her Luna. She has a taller frame and amazing colors in her lineage, with her father coming all the way from Hungary. She had her first litter of puppies in December 2022. We are a responsible family breeder and only have one litter, per female, per year. This guarantees that our two females are really healthy and can be the best mamas to their puppies as possible!

French Bulldog Characteristics

French Bulldogs typically weigh between 16-28 pounds, so they make perfect lap dogs!

Frenchies love to follow you wherever you go and just generally be with you all the time. Their favorite place is anywhere their owner is!

Frenchies are very friendly dogs who love giving and receiving affection.

They do have trouble regulating body temperature, so you will need to keep your French Bulldog indoors in the heat and air conditioning to avoid any cold or heat related issues.

Because of their short, smooth coats, French Bulldogs are pretty low maintenance.

They require bathing only every two months, with face wrinkle cleaning every 1-2 weeks as needed.
